The Holiday Rowing Challenge

The holidays are officially here! Which means there will several holiday get togethers with more alcohol, sugar, and tasty food than any other months of the year. But don't worry! We've devised a fun and competitive way to help you stay on track with your fitness goals.

On December 1st, we'll be kicking off our first annual C5 Row Through the Holidays Competition. 

Here's how this works:

The competition will run from December 1st-31st. During that time there will be 4 competitions running simultaneously including:

  • Individual Male and Female with the Most Cumulative Meters Rowed.

  • The Consistency Award for the individual who puts in the most extra sessions during the month.

  • Total Meters Rowed, Guys vs. Girls. 

  • Male and Female with Longest Distance Rowed in a Single Session.

Competition Rules

  • Meters and sessions will only count when they are done outside of class. Meters accumulated during a class workout WILL NOT count.
  • Meters and sessions must be rowed between 12/1/2016 and 12/31/2016

  • Only sessions with more than 2,000 meters will be counted. 

  • This is all based on the honor system, only submit what you truly row. 

  • A leaderboard will be posted once per week throughout the month of December.

  • If you are rowing outside of class time you must coordinate with the coach on site to make sure that a rower is available. Group Classes take precedence over this competition. 

Submitting Your Scores

  • For your meters to count you have to take a picture of the screen and email it to your team captain. In that email you also need to submit the date and time the meters were rowed.
