Progression

We talk about the importance of proper progression all the time at the C5 Facility. 

Proper progression is vital for your success in Fitness. Try to do too much too soon, and you can find yourself compromising form, developing poor movement patterns, and potentially risking injury.

Aside from nutrition, following a proper progression plan that is right for YOU is one of the most difficult things you will have to do as someone chasing Fitness goals. 

Today we will be adding the next level of progression to our Hang Power Clean complex that we've been working on. Be sure to listen to your Coaches tips today, focus on your positions, and embrace the progressions with this movement.

A. hang power clean progressions/positions

B. HPC complex every 90sec for 6 sets: 1 highhang power clean (above mid thigh) + 1 hang power clean 1" above knee) + 1 hang clean (1" below knee)
(start moderate, build each set as technique and speed allow)

C1. 4x12 alternating front rack reverse lunge steps @20X1 tempo (HAP)
*rest 60sec
C2. 4x7/side; half kneeling SA DB press @21X1 tempo (HAP)
*rest 60sec
C3. 4x1 rope pull w/knee raise
*rest 90sec
