Sprint Interval Saturday

Welcome to Sprint Interval Saturday!!

Wait, is "Sprint Interval Saturday" really a thing??

Yes, yes it is.

At least at C5, this Saturday it is ;)

Interval training, also known as interval workouts or interval runs, are short, intense efforts followed by equal or longer recovery time.

For today's running WOD you will be performing interval hill repeats as a part of your workout. There are two key benefits from doing hill intervals.
First, they strengthen all of the running muscles, making you, the runner, much less injury-prone. And, second, they also increase the power and efficiency of your stride, enabling you to cover more ground with each step.

As you are executing today's workout know that you are taking steps to strenghten and enhance your fitness!

Get out and have fun!
