C5 sends a TEAM of 3 to The 2016 Kill Cliff Granite Games!!

We are SUPER STOKED to announce that C5 will be sending a TEAM of 3 females who have qualified to compete at the 2016 Kill Cliff Granite Games in St. Cloud, Minnesota! 

The C5 Competition TEAM participated in the Granite Games, four week, online qualifier this past June through July and the girls earned their spot as a TEAM and will be headed to Minnesota to represent C5 in September! 

This will be a 3 day event (Friday - Sunday) where our ladies will compete in multiple events each day over the 3 day period. 

Those of you who know our female Coaches (and athletes), know that they have dedicated A TON of time to their training over the past 3+ years (specifically for competition in the sport). Everything they have achieved as it relates to their Fitness has, without a doubt, been "EARNED, NOT GIVEN."

I am personally BEYOND PROUD of their hard work, dedication, and drive to become the athletes they are today!

This will be their first 'out of state' competition and we are super stoked to be supporting them on their journey as Fitness Competitors!

D1. 3x6 seated DB press @ 21X1 tempo (HAP)
D2. 3x6/side; 3 point DB row (HAP)
D3. 3x20sec hollow body rocks

B.  every 90sec x 6: 1 segmented clean pull (pause at knee, pause at mid thigh) + 1 clean pull + 1 clean & jerk
(build moderate per set)(do NOT exceed 90% of 1rm)
*focus on positions over load

C. 4x2 front squats (HAP)
*rest 90sec

D1. 3x6 seated DB press @ 21X1 tempo (HAP)
D2. 3x6/side; 3 point DB row (HAP)
D3. 3x20sec hollow body rocks
*rest 90sec
