VALUES

What is it that you VALUE most in life?

Is it your family, your pets, your shoe collection, a higher spiritual power, your #C5FitnessGainz, your health, your happiness, your career, your bank account.......etc?

We are ALL individuals, hardwired with our own set of thoughts of desires. We each have different goals, and different outlooks on life. We have different careers, some of us LOVE what we do, some of us do it for the paycheck and lifestyle we want to live.

However, at C5, we ALL have one thing in common for sure; we value FITNESS.

For some of us, it's at the top of our values list, for others, it's mixed up with other things farther down the list. But, if you show up to C5 a couple times per week at a minimum, that means you value it in some form or fashion.

There is no right or wrong with where Fitness sits on your values list, however, there must be awareness around where it sits for you personally.

When you have "awareness" around where Fitness sits on your list, it's much easier to forgive yourself if you miss a workout, or don't lift as much as you wanted. On the other end of the spectrum, it's easier to feel okay about showing up late to a birthday party to get your AM training session in, or to miss out on specific social events to accommodate training. When you EMBRACE & OWN your values list, you KNOW deep in your heart what's important to you, and what takes precedence over other things in life.

I recently had a conversation with one of my I.D. clients (Individual Design) around her goals and values this past week.  It was an EPIC conversation that allowed her (and I) to have some "realization" about her own values in life. It helped to take the stress off of "training" and chasing PR's and accomplishments inside the gym when she was able to truly EMBRACE her values list. That it's perfectly okay to want to spend more time outdoors, in the sun, and on the water. As a C5 ID client, these are all things that will be adjusted in her individual design to accommodate her goals and values. Something that will continually evolve with time.

This week I would like to challenge each of you to evaluate your own VALUES list. Where does Fitness sit on that list for you? Is it #1....#2...............perhaps it's all the way down to #10 or beyond.

Wherever it sits, you can find some peace embracing it and let go of any "should's" you might be feeling around your Fitness.

Remember; "This is YOUR life, YOUR goals, YOUR daily decisions, OWN IT and carry yourself with confidence" ~Chad
