                                  We all need Sleep…

You may not even be aware of how your sleep, or lack of sleep is affecting you. EVERYDAY, your energy level, your healing, your mood, the way you treat people, the way you treat yourself…etc, it’s all affected by sleep!

"We do not understand the need for sleep and the consequences of sleep deprivation. We must learn to value sleep as much as we value the importance of proper nutrition and exercise. To become peak performers we must change our habits so we can emerge from the fog of sleepiness in which we have become habituated. We must learn to "Power Sleep."

~ James B. Maas from Power Sleep

* Do your eyelids feel heavy during the afternoon?

* Is craving bad foods a normal occurrence?

* Do you drink caffeine to stay alert?

* Are you crashing midway during the day?

* Do you sleep extra hours on your days off?

* Are you grumpy and irritable often?

These are all symptoms of sleep deficiency-signals that you are operating below your peak performance and beneath your mental capacity.

Sleep is the time our body heals itself.

Sleep is the time our conscious minds are at rest.

Sleep is crucial for problem solving skills.

Sleep is extremely powerful for your level of patience. Sleep is good for your relationships.

Sleep does a body good!!!

If you're not moving, breathing, eating the right foods, or getting enough sleep, that's 8-10 hours not 6 or 7, then guess what? You're not giving yourself a fair shot at being AWESOME.

It’s time to get your nutrition, exercise and sleep on track…Yesterday!

Nighty night!
