WHAT IF I CANNOT DO THE PRESCRIBED (RX'ED) WEIGHT SPECIFIED IN THE WOD?

Use a weight that's manageable to you, or use a percentage of the weight prescribed. Assume the "generic" male crossfitter weighs 175 and the prescribed weight is 95 lbs. Thus, you'd pick a weight that's approximately 55% of your bodyweight.

Is it true that CrossFit is really hard?

CrossFit is as hard as you make it.  We encourage people to work as hard as they want.  Once you come to C5, you will notice that our members push themselves pretty hard as they want to make the most of their workouts.  The more intensity and work put into your workout, the better the results.
